The "Blessing Backpack" goes on a missions trip of its own...

We made it back to our own beds at 3:15am Monday morning 9/28. We were exhausted after a grueling 49.5hr trip by train, bus and van. The journey took us across the USA from Sun Valley, Arizona, back to Northern Michigan. We slept until 11am, Sarah-Grace slept until 1:49pm!


Bill Ness spent nearly all day, his first day back, on the phone with Amtrack and Chicago PD. 


His luggage was not only removed from the train without his knowledge, but then it was stolen. He was told by PD its in a bad part of town, and he will never see it again. 


It was, however, air tagged, so now Bill has been tracking it as it moves about. Reporting back to HQ, because where one crime happens more are bound to be happening. He's enjoying playing detective.


750$ worth of clothing/items were stolen. We have a detailed list of backpack contents, brands and prices submitted to Claims at Amtrack and CPD.


In his bag were 2 Circle of Friends Camp shirts, 3 Blind Faith Ministries Inc. Tees, and his Conquerors Strength Team Jesus te Ama tee. Hopefully whoever got his bag (they just moved again) loves all the Jesus Loves You shirts! Lol.


All the clothes had been just washed in Tide detergent so it smelled good...

We believe this is a unique ministry opportunity, as we are committed to praying that wherever this "Blessing Backpack" goes, it will bring restoration to the recipients of the contents, and perhaps lead them to seek saving faith!


We pray whoever gets his boots will have warm feet this winter, his expensive underwear are very breathable, and that was a lot of clean socks! Those pants are very nice and durable... and the jammie bottoms were very soft and comfy.

We have another mission trip coming up in January and literally all his mission clothes were taken. We can't personally afford to replace them. If anyone is interested in love gifting him, he would really appreciate it.
