A Rio Grande Day - National Missions Update from Valiant Bondie III

Hi Friends of BFM!!!

Today was day 1 of 2 longer driving days, but we made it to Laredo in the late afternoon.

We tried to find access to the Rio Grande River to pray, and after a couple tries, we found the Museum of Water in Laredo. When we got there, we saw two uniformed officers there. These two were not Border Patrol but they were working closely with them.

We were able to pray with them, but then they allowed us to take a trail right down to the river, where Bill and I were able to pray and sound the Shofar right at the border (photo above).

I did not picture them as I did not have permission to do so, but on top of the 2 trucks at the top of the hill, there were 3 more border patrol vehicles that surrounded us. While some may find that to be intimidating, Bill and I found it pretty cool to have the backing of border patrol while we prayed.

Laredo marks the end of the I-35 stretch. We will be taking I-35 north to Oklahoma City tomorrow to begin the trip home. Keep us in prayer as we go. I may not post every day for the return trip.

To the Praise of His Glory!!!
